BioScreen C MBR

From Counter Culture Labs

This is a shaking incubator (well barely, it only moves the plate back and forth in one dimension) that takes 100 well microplates and measures growth curves while incubating.

It takes these annoying proprietary honeycomb microplates that cost $10 a pop but we do have a bunch in a box sitting on the shelf directly above the machine.

It is hooked up to a laptop running the official software. It takes one or two plates at a time. Be aware that it is fairly loud when it's shaking.

Marc Juul knows more about this machine.

This is the model we have at CCL
